If so, then there is scholarship money you may qualify more. Most people think the Federal Government only provides money for Grants. Well, this is not true. Being employed by the Federal Government or being a family member of a federal employee, also qualifies you. You should with the agency you or your family works for because scholarship money may be waiting for you. I have compiled a list of scholarship you may also want to investigate.

Federal Government Scholarships

The American Foreign Service Association (AFSA) Merit Awards and Financial Aid Scholarships - AFSA gives merit, art merit and need based awards. They are open to children (high school seniors and college undergraduates) of Foreign Service employees. This award is a one-time only. It is renewed based on financial need. The Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA) provide over $3.5 million in college scholarships exclusively to federal and postal employees and their family members. For more information, please visit FEEA
Federal Cyber Service - Scholarship For Service (SFS) is a unique program designed to increase and strengthen the cadre of federal information assurance professionals that protect the government's critical information infrastructure. This program provides scholarships that fully fund the typical costs that students pay for books, tuition, and room and board while attending an approved institution of higher learning. Additionally, participants receive stipends of up to $8,000 for undergraduate and $12,000 for graduate students. For more information, please visit the National Science Foundation.
