Executive Women International

The Executive Women International was established in California in 1938 by Lucille Johnson Perkins. EWI is unique among the myriad women's associations. It also many structured professional development opportunities through its educational programs. They also provide college scholarships to woman to help them achieve their academic goals. Many of the scholarships offered are to woman returning to work:

Executive Women International Scholarship Program (EWISP)

Executive Women International Scholarship Program (EWISP) was established to assist college bound high school juniors who be outstanding future leaders (male and female). The scholarship is offered by each EWI chapter. You will need to check the EWI website to see if a chapter exists in your state. There are currently 23 states that have a chapter.

Award Type: Scholarship

Qualifications: Academic good standing, full-time student, U.S. Citzen

Amount: up to $10,000

Number of Recipients: Annually to one or more students

Degree Type: Undergraduate

Student Type: High School Juniors

Special Reciepts: NA

Category of Study: ALL

Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST)

The Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) is a non-discriminatory, educational scholarship program for the benefit of non-traditional students. It helps provide financial support to adult students in a variety of transitional situations. The goal of the ASIST Program is to enable recipients to improve their self-esteem and to have a positive impact on the recipient’s personal life, employment, family, and community.

Award Type: Scholarship

Qualifications: Academic good standing, full-time student, U.S. Citzen

Amount: $2500

Number of Receipts: Annually to one or more students

Degree Type: Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Two and Four Year Colleges) and Vocational Trade Schools

Student Type: Adult Student, Non-Traditional, Single Parent, Women

Special Reciepts: NA

Category of Study: All

States: Multiple states - Check with EWI for a chapter in your state

The Executive Women International Fellows Program

The Executive Women International Fellows program is a corporate level program that awards financial assistance to active EWI representatives admitted to accredited baccalaureate, graduate or post graduate programs.

Award Type: Scholarship

Qualifications: Academic good standing, full-time student, U.S. Citzen, Junior or Senior standing

Amount: Five $1,000 Undergraduate Awards, Four $2,500 Graduate/Post Graduate Awards, One $5,000 Award (Deborah A. Taylor Scholarship)

Number of Receipts: Annually to one or two students

Degree Type: Undergraduate and Graduate/Postgraduate (Two and Four Year Colleges)

Student Type: NA

Special Reciepts: NA

Category of Study: ALL

States: Multiple states - Check with EWI for a chapter in your state

Deadline: April 30th of the calendar year
