The Executive Women International was established in California in 1938 by Lucille Johnson Perkins. EWI is unique among the myriad women's associations. It also many structured professional development opportunities through its educational programs. They also provide college scholarships to woman to help them achieve their academic goals. The scholarship is offered by each EWI chapter. You will need to check the EWI website to see if a chapter exists in your state. There are currently 23 states that have a chapter.

The Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) is a non-discriminatory, educational scholarship program for the benefit of non-traditional students. It helps provide financial support to adult students in a variety of transitional situations. The goal of the ASIST Program is to enable recipients to improve their self-esteem and to have a positive impact on the recipient’s personal life, employment, family, and community.

The Executive Women International Fellows program is a corporate level program that awards financial assistance to active EWI representatives admitted to accredited baccalaureate, graduate or post graduate programs.

Amount: Five $1,000 Undergraduate Awards, Four $2,500 Graduate/Post Graduate Awards, One $5,000 Award (Deborah A. Taylor Scholarship)
