Scholarships

The LINC TELACU Education Foundation

The Foundation was created in 1983 to assist Hispanic students with college. In addition to providing financial assistance, TELACU has programs to assist students with college preparation, academic and career guidance, and mentoring. In total, the Foundation’s programs and services annually support 600 college students and serve 2,000 elementary, middle and high school students and veterans.

The LINC TELACU Education Foundation - Scholarship Program

The LINC TELACU Education Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships to students in California, Texas, Illinois and New York. The foundation was created to develop and empower leaders in the communities it serves. Forty colleges and universities throughout the nation have joined TELACU in its commitment to help provide access to higher education for deserving students.

Award Type: Scholarship

Qualifications: Good academic standing (GPA 2.5 or higher), US citizenship, attending accredited college that is a member of the foundation

Amount: $1,000 to $5,000

Number of Recipients: Annually to multiple students

Degree Type: Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Two and Four Year Colleges)

Student Type: Low Income, Hispanic

BYU Marriott School/TELACU MBA Program

Selected MBA students receive financial resources that cover full tuition at this prestigious business school, as well as stipends for living expenses.

Number of Recipients: One

David C. Lizárraga Graduate Fellowship

Financial awards are given to selected students pursuing advanced degrees in business or engineering. These awards are granted to student who demonstrate great potential and commitment to expanding the TELACU Mission Statement through their areas of expertise.

Health Careers Bridge to Nursing Program

The Program provides selected nursing students with scholarships, stipends for living expenses, book grants, Kaplan prep courses, and NCLEX-RN exam fees. Students also receive a full complement of support services, including one-on-one counseling and guidance, educational and professional development seminars, and access to career-enhancing resources.

Qualifications: 2nd year student, Good academic standing, US citizenship, attending partnering college

Amount: $10,000

Number of Recipients: Annually to one students

Degree Type: Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Two and Four Year Colleges)

Student Type: Low Income, Hispanic

TELACU Arts Award
