The Foundation was created in 1983 to assist Hispanic students with college. In addition to providing financial assistance, TELACU has programs to assist students with college preparation, academic and career guidance, and mentoring. In total, the Foundation’s programs and services annually support 600 college students and serve 2,000 elementary, middle and high school students and veterans.

The LINC TELACU Education Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships to students in California, Texas, Illinois and New York. The foundation was created to develop and empower leaders in the communities it serves. Forty colleges and universities throughout the nation have joined TELACU in its commitment to help provide access to higher education for deserving students.
