Radio and Television News Directors Foundation (RTNDF)
RTNDA is the world's largest professional organization exclusively serving the electronic news profession, consisting of more than 3,000 news directors, news associates, educators and students. Founded as a grassroots organization in 1946, the association is dedicated to setting standards for newsgathering and reporting. Although news techniques and technologies are constantly changing, RTNDA's commitment to encouraging excellence in the electronic journalism industry remains the same.

Ed Bradley Scholarship
The Ed Bradley Scholarship was established by the late 60 Minutes correspondent at CBS News. Bradley spoke of introducing deserving minority students to the communications career field after his switch from the education field.
Award Type: Scholarship Qualifications: Academic good standing, full-time student, U.S. Citzen Amount: $10,000 Number of Recipients: Annually to one or more students Degree Type: Undergraduate (Freshman are not eligible) Student Type: Minority Special Reciepts: NA Category of Study: Electronic Journalism States: ALL Deadline: May 11 of the calendar year
