The California Postsecondary Education Commission

The California Postsecondary Education Commission is the state agency responsible for the overall statewide planning and coordination of higher education in California, the administration of various student aid programs, and the performance of designated regulatory functions.

  1. Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara

    The Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara offer scholarships to students who attended high school in Santa Barbara. You must meet certain financial and academic requirements to qualify. Here are the list of programs they have:

    • Undergraduate General Scholarship Program
    • Undergraduate General Loan Program
    • Medical/Graduate Scholarship Program
    • Medical/Graduate Loan Program

  2. The Tang Scholarship

    The Tang Scholarship provides financial assistance to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (l/g/b/t) Asian and Pacific Islanders (API) for post-secondary Education. The scholarship helps LGBT youth proudly achieving educational pursuits and dreams without shame. The scholarship is awarded to one outstanding student annually up to $15,000.

  3. Promise of Nursing Regional Scholarship - awarded to all students enrolled in accredited programs leading to RN licensure.

Public and Private Companies
  1. The Achievement Award Program

    The Achievement Award is a scholarship program for students with financial need who have demonstrated high potential by achieving academic success. Scholarship applicants must demonstrate commitment to helping pre-collegiate students in college preparation programs. If you have applied to UC Berkeley you may be eligible to apply for the Achievement Award. The scholarship is worth up to $6,000 per year.
