The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) Scholarships are for students who are legally blind and are seeking higher education. Each scholarship has a specific criteria. Students can apply to several as long as they fulfill the requirements.

Delta Gamma Memorial Scholarship is for students in the field of rehabilitation or education who are blind or visually impaired.
Award Type: Scholarship
Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen, provide two letters of recommendation, transcripts and proof of college acceptance. Must complete the application including essay on a specified topic and provide a letter stating that the student is legally blind

Ferdinand Torres Scholarship is for blind students who are new immigrants to the United States, and to those residing in the New York City metropolitan area.

Must provide proof of residence in the United States, but need not be a citizen of the United States. Have economic need and must include a description of country of origin and reason for coming to the U.S.
