Doctoral scholarships are harder to get than undergraduate and graduate scholarships. There are fewer scholarship programs and those that do exist are highly competitive. We recommend two strategies.
The first strategy is to try and win lucrative a fellowship through your university or the university you are planning to attend. These programs are great because the University is able to use the PhD student as a adjunct instructor or as an assistant to a professor while the funding provides are all your living expenses while you earn your PhD.
The second strategy we recommend is searching through our Post Graduate Scholarship section. We have organized this section by subject. You can also browse through our subject-specific scholarship section. You will find that some of the scholarships apply to Post-Graduate students also.
