Post Graduate Scholarships

Doctoral scholarships are harder to get than undergraduate and graduate scholarships. There are fewer scholarship programs and those that do exist are highly competitive


The first place to look for Doctoral scholarships is to try and win lucrative a fellowship through your university or the university you are planning to attend. These programs are great because the University is able to use the PhD student as an adjunct instructor or as an assistant to a professor while the funding provides are all your living expenses while you earn your PhD.

Minority Scholarships


  • Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students - The AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students program ensures that CPAs of diverse backgrounds are visible in college and university classrooms to serve as role models and mentors to young people in planning their education and careers. These competitive, renewable fellowship awards of $12,000 are awarded annually to full-time minority accounting scholars who demonstrate significant potential to become accounting educators.   • The Southern Regional Education Board's State Doctoral Scholars Program was developed with support from The Pew Charitable Trusts and The Ford Foundation.
