The state of Tennessee offers two flexible investing options to assist families in planning for the future education of a child or loved one.

1) Tennessee Baccalaureate Education System Trust Prepaid Plan

The BEST Prepaid program offers the flexibility, affordability and peace of mind some parents want.

How to enroll: The account owner or beneficiary must be a Tennessee resident at the time of program enrollment.

2) Tennessee's Baccalaureate Education System Trust (BEST) Savings Plan

Tennessee's BEST 529 College Savings Plan offers families a smart tax-advantaged way to help save for future higher education costs. Offered by the state of Tennessee, the Savings Plan provides greater flexibility to families with a choice of three Investment Options -- the Managed Allocation Option , the 100% Equity Option and the Guaranteed Option.
